What is Comprehensive Motor Insurance?

On this comprehensive policy, you will be covered for any accidental damage to your vehicle and any loss by theft and fire. We've also got you covered for third party property damage. You can choose any of the following three options on Comprehensive Motor Insurance: Auto Diamond, Auto Gold and Auto Silver.
What is covered on Auto Diamond?
  • A refund of 10% of premium if there are no claims within the first 2 years of the policy (a cheque will be attached at renewal)
  • A replacement with a new car in the event of total loss within 2 years of purchase. No deduction will be made for depreciation in the first 2 years of purchase. This feature only applies to brand new cars.
  • A free chauffeur-driven car is provided for 5 days following an accident
  • A free personal accident cover of NGN1,000,000 for the insured person
  • The insured’s medical expenses are covered up to a limit of NGN250,000
  • Any accidental damage to your vehicle is covered

  • Cover on any Accidental damage to your vehicle
  • Cover for any damage/loss by fire and theft
  • Third-party property damage cover up to NGN2,000,000
  • Unlimited cover for Third Party bodily injury and death
  • Free Personal Accident cover of NGN500,000 for the insured person
  • Insured’s medical expenses are covered up to a limit of NGN100,000
  • Cost of towing the damaged vehicle covered up to a limit of NGN40,000

  • Cover for accidental damage to your vehicle
  • Cover for any damage/loss by fire and theft
  • Third-party property damage cover up to NGN1,000,000
  • Unlimited cover for third party bodily injury and death
  • A free personal accident cover of NGN250,000 for the insured person
  • The insured’s medical expenses are covered up to a limit of NGN50,000
  • Cost of towing the damaged vehicle covered up to a limit of NGN30,000
  • Free vehicle tracking device for cars is covered up to NGN5,000,000 and above (this is subject to full premium payment and business approval)

    • Cost of transportation for 5 days following an accident and damage to the car, up to a cash limit of NGN25,000 

    Yes, you can pay in instalments (Annually, Biannual, or Quarterly).

    A renewal notice will be sent to you before the expiration of the policy.

    Immediately the accident occurs.

    • Formal notification of claim
    • Completed claim form
    • Photographs of the vehicle in its damaged state
    • Police report
    • Copy of driver's license
    • A detailed estimate of repairs from a reputable garage
    • Non-payment of premiums are considered
